Liz

Practice Manager / Registered Nurse

After spending 12 months in Scotland, Liz decided to settle in Wagga, and started the practice with A/Prof Sowter. Liz has over twenty years experience as both a Registered Nurse and Manager. Liz does all the behind the scenes running of the practice, and oversees all financial, operational and personal issues. Liz is responsible for the safety and quality control of the practice, ensuring that the practice runs smoothly, complies with required legislation and continues to provide high standards.

You will often see Liz performing nursing duties and reception when required. She works closely with all team members, including doctors. Liz likes all the patients that visit the practice to have a positive experience and believes that this is achieved by the high quality of receptionists, nurses and doctors that form the valuable team of Riverina Urology.

Hailey

In January 2019, Riverina Urology was fortunate enough to gain Hailey as part of the team. Hailey has previous experience in various industries within the Riverina and Interstate and has a friendly and kind nature. Hailey works full time in the Wagga rooms but is responsible for overseeing the front reception area and staff, both in the Wagga and Griffith rooms. Hailey’s sense of humour, strong work ethic and can-do attitude, makes Hailey an invaluable asset to the team. Hailey ensures the practice runs smoothly day to day.

Mel joined the team in 2022 and works full time in the Wagga rooms of Riverina Urology. Mel has many years of administration experience and displays this expertise throughout her role daily. Mel has a friendly caring personality, and is responsible for taking bookings, assisting with enquiries and performing many other administrative roles.

Emily joined Riverina Urology in 2023, having spent time as a Nanny and in hospitality. Emily displays her caring and friendly nature at the front reception in the Wagga rooms. Emily works full time and on the occasional Saturday. Emily can assist you with many administrative enquiries and duties.

Sonya started working for Riverina Urology part time in 2017, and is one of the receptionists for the Griffith rooms. You will see Sonya’s friendly and helpful personality during the weekend consulting clinics with A/Prof Sowter.

Kathy started working at Riverina Urology in 2019 and is one of our receptionists for the Griffith clinic. Kathy has worked in various settings as a receptionist. You will find Kathy’s friendly face at the Griffith Clinic, on weekdays and evenings during A/Prof Sowter’s and Dr Bergamin’s consulting clinics.

Jess

Practice Nurse

Jess joined Riverina Urology team in 2022 and is a Registered Nurse who brings her caring nature our team. Jess ensures that patient care is priority. As the Practice Nurse, Jess works alongside other nurses and our Urologists in the Wagga rooms. Jess is responsible for seeing all patients in the rooms, booking / confirming surgical cases, following up patient results, post operative care and assisting with all in room procedures.

Britt joined Riverina Urology in November 2020 as a Registered Nurse who works casual shifts within the Wagga rooms. She has a bubbly caring personality and brings years of nursing experience both within the hospital and community settings. Britt is responsible for maintaining patient care, assisting with pre / post operative care, catheter clinics and many more nursing duties.

Tash has been keeping the Wagga rooms clean for nearly 5 years. Although behind the scenes, Tash is an integral part of the Riverina Urology team.
