Liz

Practice Manager / Registered Nurse

After spending 12 months in Scotland, Liz decided to settle in Wagga, and started the practice with Dr Sowter in 2007. Liz has over twenty years’ experience as both a Registered Nurse and Manager, and now takes care of the respected team that forms Riverina Urology. Liz does all the behind the scenes running of the practice, but you will often see her performing nursing duties and reception when required. She works closely with all team members, including the doctors. Liz likes all the patients that visit the practice to have a positive experience, and believes that this is achieved by the high quality of receptionist, nurses and doctors that form the valuable team of Riverina urology.

Louise

Office Manager

Louise started with the practice in 2015 after re-locating from Perth. After working in a different industry, Louise thought it was time for a change when she came across the role with Riverina Urology. Initially starting as receptionist and then expanding her role as Office Manager, working full time she brings with her lots of experience and new ideas to the team. Louise is responsible for overseeing the front reception desk, accounts and up-keeping databases.

Registered Nurse

Sam joined Riverina Urology in 2018 as a Registered Nurse, who works casual shifts within the Wagga Office. She has a caring and professional nature. Sam is responsible for maintaining patient care, assisting with pre / postoperative care and many other nursing duties.

Bec

Medical Receptionist

Bec joined our team in 2018, and now works full time at Riverina Urology, bringing with her an abundance of medical practice experience. She has a bubbly friendly personality, and brings her caring nature to her role. Bec works five days per week within the Wagga office, and you may also see her at our Saturday clinics. Bec is responsible for taking bookings, assisting with enquiries and performing many administrative functions.

Sonya started working for Riverina Urology in 2017, and is our main receptionist for our Griffith clinic. Sonya has worked in various settings as a Receptionist, and when she is not assisting the doctors in our Griffith Clinic, she also works at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Griffith. Sonya is our friendly face of Griffith and always happy to help.

Practice Nurse

Jo joined the Riverina Urology team in 2013 and is a Registered Nurse who brings her caring and gentle nature to our team. Jo ensures that patient’s care is first priority when dealing with them. Jo works part time and is responsible for seeing patients in the rooms, booking/confirming theatres and following up patient’s results.

Practice Nurse (Surgical Procedures Only)

Lisa is a Registered Nurse who started with Riverina Urology in 2014, Lisa works at Riverina Day Surgery. Lisa is a cheerful and caring nurse that works with both of our Doctor’s. Lisa works with both doctors on allocated Saturday’s to prepare and perform small procedures in our Wagga rooms as required.

Hailey

In Januray 2019, Riverina Urology was fortunate enough to gain Hailey as part of the team. Hailey has previous experience in various industries within the Riverina, and has a friendly and kind nature. Hailey works Mondays and Tuesdays in the Wagga office, and assists with many administrative functions.
